Windows Mail Email Account Setup for Cox Internet Services.
The following steps will walk you through configuring you email clients existing setup to work through Cox Communications.
Step 1:
Open Windows Mail. Click on the Tools Menu > Select Accounts.

Step 2:
Click to highlight your mail account, under the mail section. Click on properties to the right.

Step 3:
Click on the Advanced tab. Change the outgoing mail (SMTP) port to 587.

Click OK > and Close. You're done!
